I had planned to take the devils highway (666) from Gallop to Cortez, but missed my turn. I figured I must have missed after I had gone about twenty miles past where I thought it should be. Time to re-route, so I took 371 from Throue to Farmington. It was another road I haven't traveled, and while not great, it did offer some interesting diversions. I was really impressed with Farmington, NM. I think it is the first town I have been to in NM that really looks like it is prospering. It seems to have it all, tourism, farming, and oil wells.
