Perfect temps for riding today and my goal is to reach Montrose, CO. As usual when leaving town nothing seems to beg to have it picture taken. Today, I decided to take a little different route to Winslow as I have never riden the portion of 87 from Strawberry to Winslow. The first bit was quite pleasant, but the second half was some of the same old desert we know so well. That low haze in the third picture is smoke from the fire near Alpine. I can even see the smoke here in Montrose this evening.
