I'm near Wallace, ID and saw this building from the highway. Lot's of cars parked in the parking lot and the wheels and cables at the top of the tall structure were spinning lickity split. I rode on and as I was passing school yard ball field I noticed a little girl about 8 or 9 sitting alone on the bleachers so I stopped and asked her what they mine there. I got the stock kid answer "I don't know", but then she added that she thought it was gold and silver. So there you have folks, they were pulling gold and silver out of that mine lickity split!
